Got a letter from the company I retired from 2 weeks ago.
They said retirees are covered as usual through 2014.
Think basically the group plan is self insured with the company using an insurance company to administer it.
There is some kind of Obamacare exception for a group like that..............For the time being anyway.

I think we are ok through 2014 also but Care First Blue Choice, that’s what we have, issued cancellations to a lot of customers recently due to Obamacare. All together about 76,000 in Maryland are losing their insurance now.
