We would have to get down to that level with o-scopes on chips with the equipment I worked on.
Fun and games with ones and zeros.
Some of the fastest Tektronic oscilloscopes available couldn't keep up with the telemetry..............Man am I happy I'm retired, LOL!

I used to have to read core dumps to find a problem. Those days are long gone. We get easier error messages now :)
