Salvation was never for the angels, indeed the whole salvation plan “is a mystery,; one that the angels themselves long to look into” but instead was for humans. The “once saved always saved” meme is a non sequitor in this discussion of Satan.
No so fast. Who’s to say who is saved and who is not? Here’s a few verses for you to consider…. Ps:44:21: “Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart”… and Lk:16:15: “And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.”
The bottom line is that people can fool others and even themselves with regards to who is saved and who is not…. but God can’t be fooled. Now, who can say whether Satan was ever saved? The evidence is that he never ever was….
