"Fraud is a serious federal felony, usually punishable by up to 20 years’ imprisonment — with every repetition of a fraudulent communication chargeable as a separate crime. In computing sentences, federal sentencing guidelines factor in such considerations as the dollar value of the fraud, the number of victims, and the degree to which the offender’s treachery breaches any special fiduciary duties he owes. Cases of multi-million-dollar corporate frauds — to say nothing of multi-billion-dollar, Bernie Madoff–level scams that nevertheless pale beside Obamacare’s dimensions — often result in terms amounting to decades in the slammer.

Justice Department guidelines, set forth in the U.S. Attorneys Manual, recommend prosecution for fraud in situations involving “any scheme which in its nature is directed to defrauding a class of persons, or the general public, with a substantial pattern of conduct.” So, for example, if a schemer were intentionally to deceive all Americans, or a class of Americans (e.g., people who had health insurance purchased on the individual market), by repeating numerous times — over the airwaves, in mailings, and in electronic announcements — an assertion the schemer knew to be false and misleading, that would constitute an actionable fraud — particularly if the statements induced the victims to take action to their detriment, or lulled the victims into a false sense of security."

Outstanding article by McCarthy (as usual). He lays out more than enough evidence to impeach, convict, and imprison the lying bastard.

Watch the Nuremberg trials. No one knew anything. Looks and sounds like Zero and his Regime.

Never again; think again.

If it passed the House, Dirty Harry would NOT bring it up for a vote in the Senate. And, of course, the entire communist-democrat party political machine would scream “racist.”

We absolutely should make the impeachment of Obama a central theme of the 2014 elections. Let it be the first thing on the a agenda of a Republican-led Senate. Forget this nonsense that impeachment could never happen because of racial concerns. Every single American who has been lied to and had their health insurance screwed up will at least be open to considering the possibility. All these people need is opposition leaders with a little courage.

>>>..how would the Justice Department be dealing with it if it had been uttered by, say, the president of an insurance company rather than the president of the United States?"" I fail to see the difference, Obama is the President of GOV, Inc. Responsibility comes accountability. Otherwise a 4yr term looks like a dictatorship.

...an assertion the schemer knew to be false and misleading, that would constitute an actionable fraud — particularly if the statements induced the victims to take action to their detriment, or lulled the victims into a false sense of security.

Fraud in the inducement n. the use of deceit or trick to cause someone to act to his/her disadvantage, such as signing an agreement or deeding away real property. The heart of this type of fraud is misleading the other party as to the facts upon which he/she will base his/her decision to act. Example: "there will be tax advantages to you if you let me take title to your property," or "you don't have to read the rest of the contract--it is just routine legal language" but actually includes a balloon payment.

We mustn’t forget our stellar, complicit, sycophantic Congressthings:

I Just Realized Something:

My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day.
He has his food prepared for him.
His meals are provided at no cost to him.
He visits the Dr. once a year for his checkup and again during the year, if any medical needs arise.

For this he pays nothing, and nothing is required of him.
He lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than he needs, but he is not required to do any upkeep.

If he makes a mess, someone else cleans it up.
He has his choice of luxurious places to sleep.
He receives these accommodations absolutely free.

He is living like a king and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever.
All of his costs are picked up by others who earn a living.
I was just thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a ton of bricks ~

MY dog is a CONGRESSMAN!!!

The House doesn’t have the guts to impeach, so forget it.

And the Senate would never convict anyway.

Of course he needs to be jailed. However, NOTHING will happen to him. A coalition of blacks, Asians, Sodomites, Mexicans and others have elected him and are now attempting to consolidate their control. Once absolute control is established then Americans should get ready for ignorance, poverty, insult, assaults and murder. We have earned them.

Ask yourself this:

If a Fortune 500 company had spent five years advertising that they were going to provide customers with a new system of healthcare coverage that...
- Lowered the premiums for an average family by $2,500/year
- Guaranteed coverage, regardless of preconditions
- That would allow you to keep your doctor
- That you didn’t have to join if you wanted to keep the plan you had

...and then the company rolled out the actual plan, and it had the same impact we’re seeing from what ObamaCare is doing, how long would it have taken Atty Gen Holder to arrest every leader in that company and perp-walk them to jail in front of every TV camera he could summon to the event?
