“What now? 100% subsidies for 100% of the people.”

And let’s raise the minimum wage to $25.00 @ hour!
And I want a pony. All in favor, raise your hands.

100% subsidies for 100% of the people.

Single payer, except the payer has no legal way to pay for it.

These are tax credits, on a massive scale. Effectively, he will be creating a second monetary system. If you know Gresham’s law, you should be able to figure out what will happen. The end result will be the devaluation of government reimbursement to the point where no one will accept EBT cards, viola, rioting and looting across the country.

It’s going to happen anyway, the sooner the better.

Continuing to break the law of their unconstitutional *tax*/*law of the land*. This latest “change” should completely void this debacle and make it null and void.

*More! Free! Government! Sh*t!*

The USA has already been bankrupted, what’s a little more debt between friends? How about a free week in Vegas with all-you-can-eat lobster for every EBT recipient who registers as a Democrat?

And I don’t just want a pony, I want my pony to make $10/hour!

So what about that Constitution!

This is a tax and all tax laws originate in the House of Reps not the Whitehouse.

If this is such a GREAT product, why do you have to basically bribe people to sign up for it?

67% of the population was at or below the 400% mark in 2010-11...

http://kff.org/other/state-indicator/population-up-to-400-fpl/#table

Probably 70% by now.

So right now around 70% of the population is already subsidy eligible.

Anybody who wanted free healthcare already had it. The rest of us won’t qualify for their handout.

He's forcing entitlements on people who have never lived off the Gov't.

He wants all of the middle class to be getting handouts...that will make it much easier to control the bourgeois.

I recall we had a big laugh about what would happen when the dopes who voted for this fiasco found out it was not free medical insurance. Unfortunately the laugh is on us as this thing moves to being free medical insurance for about 90% of the population.

O turd is going to keep throwing cash at this monster just to get it up and going. After he has completely destroyed the individual market, he will rest well in the notion it is national medical insurance and he has reached his goal.

What now? 100% subsidies for 100% of the people...why not? - and then we'll get the bright idea, approved by everyone, to just cut out the middle man and have the government pay the insurance companies directly - et voila - government single payer health coverage - what duya know.....

Lets see ...

You need the extra money from higher premiums to fund the the original subsidies, but now you want to expand subsidy eligibility, so you need even MORE money from even HIGHER premiums [with a SMALLER pool of people] in order to fund the expanded subsidies ...

ROCK SOLID business plan ...

Somehow, I think Congress will have to be involved with “extended” subsidies, and I seriously doubt they’ll go along. Still, like Charles Krauthhammer just said, it’s the typical Democrat “solution”: spend more money. Charles also said the idea was “insane”.

Hello? My understanding of civics and government is strained. THE PRESIDENT IS GOING TO CHANGE A LAW? Is he a king? He seems to be RULING us subjects here. What happened to congress?

Is not the schedule of those eligable for subsidies determined by “established” law and not something the King Coon can alter at will?
