Every Friday for the last month, the Maryland Health Benefits Exchange has been releasing figures as to the number of people who had bought health insurance through the state's website since it went online on October 1.
That is not the case today.
In their weekly report, released this afternoon, the exchange said it, "is revising its approach to providing numbers of enrolled Marylanders. Future reports will separate individuals versus households, qualified health plans versus Medicaid, and other information. For this reason, there is no updated enrollment data this week."
As of last Friday, 4,500 people were able to apply for coverage through the exchange.

C’mon Maryland, let’s beat DC’s enrollment number with ...
7 !!!
YEAH -————————— !!
“This will be the most transparent administration...”
Yet another lie in a heap of thousands....
This is another indicator that the thing is totally f’d.
Because you know a liberal enclave like Maryland is loaded with navigators.
And even with that, nobody’s enrolling.
Come on Balmer. Show some liberal pride.
Well then....all those "navigators" should sign up immediately.
I think navigators are in union waivered plans, so they don’t need to.
They will be the ones who get the “Free” coverage.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
Looks like a good way to pump the figures - FIVE people making up a household look better ONE household.
Can't help being suspicious, but these days wording is everything. Why would they use "were able to apply" instead of "have applied"?
