One could argue the Soviets won. When you consider we elected and re-elected Obama, you could say the Communists and their liberal ilk did win in the long run--

Well, he doesn’t have much of an imagination does he? I can think of lots worse stuff. Not meaning to make light of a bad situation though.

Us electing a muslim may yet result in the destruction of Russia.

I can think of way worse things too. This Suzuki guy is boring.

We’ve already seen his election to office cause the destruction of an number of nations, but I fear it will be we before Russia - we have more enemies now.

Agreed. Our domino is likely to fall before theirs, but ours falling does not protect theirs.

There should be an International Treaty that requires all writers that pass on crisis propaganda as the truth should be hung until dead. I am sick of this crap! Everything is going to end life as we know it... while they ignore obama... who is changing the way the entire planet lives there lives.

ours falling does not protect theirs... Agree, it will even likely set the stage for their fall soon afterwards.

Yep, that’s the way I see it too. What I don’t know and often wonder about, is how badly we’re going to get it. We’re so shaky now, only one or two major cities or seats of power destroyed would collapse us entirely. Look what’s happened after the two trade towers were destroyed.

they ignore obama... I won't argue that O isn't the biggest danger the world has ever known, or at least those pulling his strings. As Billy Graham said (paraphrasing), "it's not the nukes we have to worry about, it's the hearts of those behind the triggers."

Not into fear mongering, but can't help agree with this from the article:
"Top scientists and government officials say that Tepco should be removed from all efforts to stabilize Fukushima. They say that an international team of the smartest engineers and scientists should instead handle this difficult mission."
"Because the U.S. controls Japanese nuclear policy, Americans should demand of our political representatives that they pressure Japan to kick Tepco off the job ... and let an international team of scientists and engineers take over."
What's our official US position? Have we sent our best people over there to do an assessment as an official US 'delegation' to advise and help? You would assume this was done right after it happened, but haven't heard nor read of it. Anyone know of an official US response team?

Obama and Valerie?
lol Really, it's probably low on their agenda list, so maybe nothing's been done officially by the US. ?
