I called my senators offices today to ask them if the senator was signing up for Obamacare. The local offices were confused and referred me to the Washington offices. The pleasant sounding people who answered in the phones in both offices did a lot of stuttering and placed me on hold. One of them finally took me off hold and claimed they were all looking forward to signing up. I asked for that information in writing or posted on their website. They'll take it under review.
It might be fun if we all called our elected officials and asked if they're signing up for what we're forced to sign up for.

“...their bosses upstairs..” Herein lies the problem... They have no idea who they work for and we are not acting like “bosses”

A lot of employees are planning to separate because of this," one man stood up and declared at the first-ever congressional orientation for Obamacare. By "separate," he meant quit. Awe too bad. The Congress Critters get to feel what the American People are feeling. Cry me a River.

Call and ask the DC and local offices for letters explaining the Senator’s and Congressman’s support for ObamaCare in writing, as well as an explanation for their “yes” vote. Then ask if the staff is signing up for ObamaCare and document that as well. Document the request and the response if there is one. Great to use during 2014 election, ya think?

an auditorium full of congressional staff grapples with the consequences of how their bosses upstairs wrote the Affordable Care Act.
Simple solution: Eat it!

Good. Let them go and don’t replace them. It was the Congressional staff that wrote the 2000+ page bill our Congresscritters voted for without reading.
Eliminate the staff and you have much less harmful legislation. Even better, get rid of the staff and make the Congresscritters stay in barracks style dormitories on Capitol Hill while Congress is in session. They’d be out of session most of the time.

Having a bunch of them “exit” would be sorta like a mini sequester. Perhaps we are about to see how “essential” most of them are.
