Obama: 'I'm sorry' Americans are losing insurance Associated Press

WASHINGTON (AP) — Seeking to calm a growing furor, President Barack Obama said Thursday he's sorry Americans are losing health insurance plans he repeatedly said they could keep under his signature health care law. But the president stopped short of apologizing for making those promises in the first place.
"I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me," he said in an interview with NBC News.
Signaling possible tweaks to the law, Obama said his administration was working to close "some of the holes and gaps" that were causing millions of Americans to get cancellation letters. Officials said he was referring to fixes the administration can make on its own, not legislative options some congressional lawmakers have proposed.

This is I am sorry that I got caught screwing up 1/6th of the American economy !
Since this is his "signature legislation" , let us realize that :
it is a tax scheme, that wasn't supposed to be a tax
was encouraged and vetted by Nancy Piglousey : "You gotta Pass it to find out what's in it !!"
that instead of being read for 3 days as promised and is procedure , voted on within 1 1/2 days (hurried legislation)
And is legally : "BAIT AND SWITCH" (= fraud !)..
and this is his "signature legislation" .. for which an apology is NOT an apology .. should be grounds for stupidity by legislation or impeachment !
The fact that Dems, RHINOs , and GOPe support it tells me that "the fix is in ", and that all are conspirators in the demise of the USA for their own self-centered purposes !
Very interesting, but no real surprises from what we have all already heard. However, I suspect that Ms. Pope is going to spend a great deal of time with the IRS and other alphabet agencies as they ruin her life. Dear Leader knows how use the power of the government to attack and destroy those who dare to criticize him. He is only just barely held in check from a full on tyranny.

I have a comment - if, as they claim, Obama Care will make it better for everyone, why in the hell does he think an apology is in order. He should be telling us that we should thank him.

A TRUE apology also contains the evidence of the currently instituted ACTIONS of how retributions are being instituted to make it right with the parties that were wronged.

Just who are those 5%? They are most likely independent business owners, who are generally the least tied to government control. All these cancellations, and moving the individuals into government run exchanges are just a way of creating another government-controlled, financial entanglement for people who are trying to maintain some semblance of freedom and independence. That attitude is the true enemy of the Obama administration.

Sage advice. This guy is going to try to do a rope a dope now. He hopes everyone argues over the sufficiency of his “apology”. Don’t fall for that trap. The issue is Obamacare not his apology. Follow the example of Kennedy during the missile crisis, Krushchev sent a hardline message during negotiations and Kennedy chose to ignore it and simply responded as if it had not been sent. Same here, ignore it, keep blasting away at Obamacare and this POS’s support of it, how he lied to get it passed, how he threatened those into voting for it, how he miscast its affects, and how it is financially harming many taxpayers especially the middle class. Of course the moochers will not care but we still carry the day barely in a majority so we must stand firm, defeat those 16 senators running for reelection, retake the senate, keep the house and make Oturd’s last two years miserable.

Meanwhile, I’ve noted the MSM attempts to minimize the debacle. “Some Americans” losing their insurance. “Less than 5%” losing their insurance.
Did all the Sh*6 start because 10% didn’t have insurance now it looks like 30% (at least)are getting messed around.
