Rick Newman of Yahoo! Finance offers his solutions to "fix" ObamaCare.....:
"As clumsy as the launch of the Affordable Care Act has been, the law is here to stay. But its numerous provisions aren't written in stone and President Obama himself has said he's willing to change the law in the future in order to make it work better."
"Clumsy" doesn't quite capture what the ObamaCare rollout has been, but this is what passes for harsh criticism among mainstream pundits. More correctly,the launch has been an incompetent and hopeless failure and that fact is so obvious that Barack Obama,who is not known for his humility,has no other choice beyond admitting that he's open and willing to make changes in his flagship legislation for it to "work better." Which is akin to me saying that I'd be willing to have a mechanic look at my car and make some changes because it hasn't started in weeks, the brakes and steering column don't appear operative, and I can expect that what I'll be paying in gas if it does crank up will cripple me financially due to its bulky engine design, which obviously wasn't thought out very well.
In both cases, a resolution to make "changes" to improve functionality is less a sign of humility and level-headedness and more a sign of, and natural reaction to, poor decision-making. And sometimes, when a poor decision is made in selecting vehicles, it's smarter and less costly to buy a new car than rebuild a lemon. At the very least, it should be an option taken into consideration.
But that's not how it works with legislation, particularly when Democrats and their media support are pot-committed to see that the lemon will one day work just like they promised--even if it takes every dime of your money to do it....

The realities:
1. The administration will absolutely not change anything, suspend it, or push back the deadlines. Too much is put on the bets to render this game terminated.
2. The Senate and House members up for election in 2014 are in a tight bind. Unless some miracle occurs...at least half the Democratic senators will lose. It’s likely to be 51 Republicans in the Senate in Jan of 2015. Not enough to stage major confrontations, but someone (not Mitch McConell) from the Republicans would replace Harry Reid.
3. The insurance companies are way deep into the current mess and any change or delay...screws up a bunch of things. They need at least a month to rethink how they’d proceed. If the administration waits until mid-December to act....it’s basically too late to create plan B for the companies.
4. The media....is about as far out in the boonies as you can get on how any of this can survive, or move to plan B. CNN is mostly there now to provide soccer scores, and some one-hour special on a guy in search of a good cheeseburger.
5. Finally, the consumer. There’s just no grasp or understanding by ninety-five percent of the nation over budget issues, the economy, health insurance costs, foreign policy, or such. We are handcuffed to a vast American public who aren’t capable of understanding the big picture, and their only concrete evidence of intelligence is how the NCAA bowl committee operates.

Numbers like a $100 million, let alone half a billion may be incomprehensible. It is as if people have two brains--a smart one for everyday shopping and stupid one for grasping hugely expensive promised government miracles...."
Obamacare is a fraud and as such should be canceled by the court.

Last evening, that question came in as a "tweet" to Breit Baer on his show Special Report - and Baer directed it to Juan Williams. He could not answer it of course but he did a good job of verbally swerving all over the place.
The vast landscape of the zero info-bots is too busy with their own personal lives to be concerned with the political realities that affect their lives. The zero info-bots actually turn their minds away off of anything in the political realm. They hate politics and will not allow anyone to discuss it around them. This is at their own peril.
I call it the TV Dinner Mentality. They want their information done quick and easy. They go for the easy source of information, the networks. Because they refuse to spend any time getting the full truth, they allow themselves to be spoon fed by the State-owned Media, who is not working for their best self-interests.
“Fraud” is the key word here, in order to get it nullified in the courts.
In the private sector, say, while selling a car or processing a loan, statements like these nullify contracts and result in fines and/or jail time.
Anyone who pays a fine for not having insurance, once they do so, will have standing to sue under equal protection laws. The exemptions are key here.
Anyone who has been unable to keep a policy they liked should have standing in the eyes of the court.
The “apology” actually creates a legal problem for Obama should this get to a courtroom.
I’m not a lawyer, so maybe someone who is could set me straight here, if I’m wrong.
Repealing the law will require majorities in both houses plus the presidency, or 2/3 majority in both houses.
Present and foreseeable election results make either very unlikely.
And despite the agony it is causing, it will be said that it can’t be repealed because that would cause some pain...

I've been trying to tell people for a long, long time that the individual mandate isn't going anywhere. Why would the GOP ever allow it to be repealed? It was their damned idea! Take a look at how much the insurance companies bribe them with every year at the national party and individual level. Anyone who thinks that mandate will ever be repealed by either party is too stupid to deal with.
