Former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin will be in Tyler on November 20, promoting her latest book.
According to Palin's Facebook page, the former Alaska governor will be at Sam's Club from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Sam's Club in Tyler is located at 2025 S. Loop 323.
Palin's appearance in Tyler is a stop on the first leg of her "Good Tidings and Great Joy" book tour.
"We look forward to seeing you on the road, having the opportunity to spread the positive message of this book and really share in the true spirit of the Christmas season," says Palin.
I want to take her to Jucy's ☺
They did say she was a governor. Anyway, a book about Christmas. I guess.
Maybe she came back to Fox because of her book coming out. If you’ve got a book to sell, join Fox’s book of the month club. Her book is the only I’d consider reading.
I have my signed copy on order. Oh, what I’d give for Sarah to make a book tour stop in SE Texas.
I just went through Tyler two weeks ago. Ate some chicken from Raising Cane’s. Sure wish I’d have driven past Jucy’s. I went around the east side and was only a few blocks from the place. Didn’t even know they existed.
We’re going to be going through there but not until the 22nd. Sure wish I could go. A new Raising Cane’s just opened here locally. Haven’t been there but also haven’t heard much good about it. Not too many cars there either.
What is Jucy’s?
Some folks think Smashburger is a bit to foo foo.
Just a good ol East Tx Burger place.
In her New York Times bestsellers Going Rogue and America by Heart, Sarah Palin revealed the strong Christian faith that has guided her life and family. In Good Tidings and Great Joy she calls for bringing back the freedom to express the Christian values of the season. She asserts the importance of preserving Jesus Christ in Christmasin public displays, school concerts, pageants, and our expressions to one another otherand laments the over-commercialization and homogenization of Christmas in today's society.
Interwoven throughout are personal memories and family traditions, as well as more than a dozen family photos, which illustrate the reasons why the celebration of Jesus Christ's nativity is the centerpiece of her faith. Palin believes it is imperative that we stand up for our beliefs before the element of faith in a glorious and traditional holiday like Christmas is marginalized and ignored. She also encourages readers to see what is possible when we unite in defense of our religious convictions and ignore the politically correct Scrooges seeking to take Christ out of Christmas. Good Tidings and Great Joy is a call to action to openly celebrate the joys of Christianity, and say Merry Christmas to one another.
Gee, Karl Rove is from Texas isn’t he? What an opportunity for “Miley-Palin” to stop by and pay Mr. Rove a holiday visit. She could personally deliver a complimentary copy of her new book...flip him over and shove it right up his ass!
Except he’d enjoy it too much...
Tyler, now there is a great city. Except for too many of our undocumented brethren, it is as close to a perfect place as any I have seen. Nacogdoches, TX - appears to me to be another good candidate for this sort of praise. Tyler would be a good place for many Freepers to settle in.
Just a good ol East Tx Burger place.”
Thanks. I’ll put it on the list of places to look for when we head up that way.
Say hi to Mrs. Mary Cooper.
(Sheldon’s Mother)
:-)
I will - but who is Sheldon???
Raising Cane’s has the best chicken fingers out there. And “fingers” is all they sale. We stop at Whataburger and get some gravy then take it with us to Raising Cane’s.

Sounds like something my son and dil would do except they’d make a third stop at one of our local bakeries which makes the best hot homemade yeast rolls you’ve ever put honey butter on. Perfect meal!
