I don’t go anywhere without, at least, one gun...often two.
When we go anywhere, the wife looks at my shirt tail out and says “I take it you’re carrying?”
“...at least, one gun, often two...”
I commute 140 miles a day... If something drastic happens and I have to make my way home on foot (by using an FAA sectional and following the high tension powerlines - highways will be too crowded with pirates) I’m ready. I keep my ruck with all essentials, an M-4 carbine, and a double combat ammo load in the trunk of my S6 Quattro. An 9mm Uzi carbine rides in the front next to me, along with sling of 12 mags. Then there is whatever sidearm I decided to wear that day... It varies depending upon my mood. My motto is “The hardest part about the zombie apocalypse will be hiding my exitement.” And in my book, zombies have nothing to do with the walking dead.
Oh... And I’m even safer at work: I own a gunshop... :-)
