I’ve recently prepared what may well be my last message to our nation. I have prayed a great deal about this. The program is called The Cross, and you can see it on television beginning November 7.
I hope you won’t watch the program alone. It’s intended to be watched with someone you know—a loved one, friend, or co-worker—who needs Jesus Christ.

I’m just speculating on the “kingmaker” optics it may have for some if Hillary runs in 2016.
After all, Democrat Christian “loyalists” swallowed the lie that Barack Obama shares their beliefs (culturally or theologically).
Rev. Graham has always tried to maintain a non-partisan stance, and has reached out to Presidents of both parties throughout his public minstry.
It was the extreme measure of Obama forcing religious organizations to pay for abortificants that caused him to speak out.
Graham was a democrat from birth and supposedly his ‘best’ friend president was LBJ. Graham was no where to be found during the trials and tribulations of Nixon. Obama did not need Billy to get elected as Obama had seduced the majority of under 40 college educated crowd. Old bjClinton and his woman have always been pro-abort along with many other ungodly tendencies.
God will judge.

Such people exist? Most democrats I know attend the “Church of What’s Happenin’ Now.”
I never understood how Mr. Graham could remain a member of the Democrat party when he understands what the party now stands for...abortion, the sodomite agenda...members of that party vocally renounced G-od THREE times at their convention in Charlotte. They are outspoken LIARS, as well. (Of course, the other wing of the Uniparty shares that affliction, as well.)
Some black preachers even poo-pood the "rumors" that Obama supported same sex marriage. "I evolved on this issue!"
Yeah, right.
Barry told the San Fransicko crowd that he would have to lie to voters in "Middle America" who still cling to God and guns.

Following the 2004 Democrats loss, Pelosi and others were quite vocal about increasing the religious optics of the Democrat Party to close the “God gap” (as they called it).
It was part of their strategy that helped them take power in the legislature in 2006 (outing two gay Republicans and calling it evidence of a “Culture of Corruption that rises to the top ranks of the GOP!”).
Following this, they tried to cast arguments for socialized medicine in religious terms. I cannot be forced to tithe to Obama’s faith in God whether that be THE higher power or man’s construct of government as “the eternal provider”.
Billy has always held an open invitation to the presidents. He has always tried to show some amount of support for them, being national figures, probably hoping that they would endeavor to live better lives, even if not actual believers. His son has often noted to believers that although he has kept an open door policy, it never meant that he supported their own beliefs/politics, etc. He wanted them to feel free to ask for counseling, advice, etc.
I think that some people associate “best friend” status to those who don’t condemn. I’ve heard all that stuff before, too, as I’m sure the whole Graham Association has had to deal with. Billy has never condemned any of the presidents. While he has spoken out against Obama, he has not condemned him. I think we best leave the condemnation to God alone. Along with that, leave the anger and misgivings at the cross. I don’t pretend to know all that is going on, and you should not either. Billy Graham has tried to not be condemning, and I would say that it has fared better for him than many in the pulpit who do start condemning people openly. For some reason, they seem to have a great “fall”!
In the 70’s, I started researching the persecution of the church, reading every book I could find on the subject. It soon became apparent that the freedom experience in the USA was unusual in history. I believe that when Billy Graham passes away, the persecution will become severe in this country.

Prayer that MANY in our country tune in, even if only out of curiosity, to see what he has to say. It was very moving!
