A married undercover cop in Arizona began an affair with the drug dealer she was investigating only to out herself and two other colleagues while the pair lay in bed according to a police report.
Tempe Police Detective Jessica Dever-Jakusz, 38, met her drug-dealer lover in June of 2013 after buying narcotics from him undercover and by August she was having regular sex with him at his home.
But on October 10th, after one of their trysts, Dever-Jakusz - who is married to a police officer - revealed that she was working undercover to arrest him at the same time as betraying her colleagues' identities.
An anonymous tip to police led to the unidentified suspect being brought in for questioning on October 15th where he admitted to a sexual relationship with the 13-year force veteran and revealed explicit text messages he exchanged with Dever-Jakusz - including one in which she was asking to come to his house that day.
The affair ruined a five-month-long undercover investigation into the sale of MDMA in Tempe, which is nicknamed Molly.

According to the suspect she was supposed to be investigating, Dever-Jakusz initially lied she was married and then when she revealed all, told him that her husband was a Chandler police officer, but that they had been having marital issues.
During her confession, she told the drug dealer suspect that her husband had been 'looking up a bunch of stuff on him,'

She got in trouble because she didn't shoot her quote of dogs while this was going on!
Makes sense because more and more cops and criminals ARE THE SAME.
To be effective she did not have to ACT at all.
Laying around on the job eh?
I wonder if she was a bicycle cop?

(I bought my wife a bike, now she peddles it all over town.)
It’s called “under cover” overtime work.
Then there was the baptist preacher that had his bicycle stolen.
He asked the catholic priest to give a good sermon on stealing, and then he remembered where he left his bicycle.
It’s a joke son, a joke
You mean under covers.
Another isolated incident.
It’s summer time and only one needed!
I’m just thankful the undercover officers she ratted out didn’t get hurt or killed.
She also might consider herself lucky, too. I have to think that a cop who played grab-arse with a drug dealer and jeopardized two of her fellow officers might find back up rather slow to arrive when she needed it most.
It looks like her ear is pinned to her head (top and bottom).
Whether you agree or disagree with the war on drugs, this story lacks one element everyone involved with MDMA knows. If someone is given MDMA everyone becomes their friend. She likely had sex with the person she was investigating because of that intoxicating effect. Telling them the others involved is part of the same. It’s a known job hazard, and not much can really be done about it if the undercover person is put in a situation to take whatever drug the dealer is selling.

My favorite!
Girl power!
That’s a very good point, one I had not considered. I can remember when I was given sodium pentethol (sometimes referred to as “truth serum” in bad old novels and movies) when I had my wisdom teeth removed as a teenager. In the brief time before I went unconscious, I remember being pretty much helpless, mentally speaking. I probably would have blabbed almost anything had I been questioned under its influence. (Not that I had anything in particular to share at 17, but you know what I mean).
So, I can definitely see your point about the possibility the officer’s judgment was impaired when both events occurred. I may need to rethink this one a bit.
and blew cover of two other female colleagues

That’s not all she blew.
My thoughts exactly. MDMA lowers your defense mechanisms and makes you very trusting of anyone. The government tested using it as a “truth serum” in the 50s, but abandoned it, because it wasn’t reliable enough, though it certainly could work well at times.
