I give the give credit, I know she is lost in the woods regarding relationships, but she has written every song on every ‘album’ she has put out - and, has not turned into a Miley whore, for public consumption. If my girls were still young, I’d rather they emulate Taylor than Miley.
I will agree with you on that. I was watching a show with my daughter a few years ago where Taylor was talking about a song she wrote for a high school talent show. I was kind of rolling my eyes.
She said she wanted to record it for an album but the producer didn’t like it. So she waited until her next album, when she had a little more control.
When she played it, I recognized it. And there are not too many “teeny bopper” songs this 50 year old would recognize.
It was a huge hit.
Did I mention it was for a HIGH SCHOOL Talent show? Yes, she might be a little distracted in life...but the girl has talent.
