Key word, business. You can tell from all the hyper annoying radio ads. It’s goal is to make money by telling people what they want to hear.
Nothing wrong with that but I have no use for it (and really don’t pay attention to it as you do) and the those that repeat talking points they hear as if they came up with them themselves.
But good luck saying that, so many have an emotional connection to the medium, from the days before the Internet was big it was the only public forum for conservatism. My own mother (in who’s basement I snort mushrooms in) is an avid Rush listener. Much better him than than Levin (AKA The second coming according to his fan club)!
Alinsky is the new Hitler, every time some gleep and I get in a fight and I’m “mean”, I end up being called Alinsky. One of the radio guys must use it a lot.
Who is Ann?
Last night was strange. Like a full moon,
Four of them came out at almost at the same time after me.
I had no intention of staying on as late as I did but it was like zombie night.
One of them was so crazed with his rage that one of his meaningless personal attempted insults was deleted (for crudeness) and the three reply’s I made to it with ‘LOLOL’ copying his text were too.
It went like :’You are probably in your parents basement right now ...ing off’ (I had to laugh at that)
My replies copied it for laughs and went like ‘And you forgot under 26 on my parents Obamacare policy too, LOLOLO’
I started listening to libs on TV years ago so when Dems here told me something dumb sounding that I would recognize it. And it works. I pick up right away and say " so and so... said that same thing on MSNBC, did you get it from there??"
And now its the same with some talk radio shows, I hear their points repeated here over and over.
‘If only those MASS RINOs would put a Ted Cruz or Jim DeMint up for their Senator he would win in a landslide. Brown was too liberal for MASS, Look at Reagan 30 years ago, he swept all those states. But they just keep on doing the same thing”
Then Christie wins in his liberal state ( His #1 object was to win) and it all blows up.
