More than a dozen anxious Senate Democrats facing reelection next year met with President Obama at the White House Wednesday to review the administration’s progress in fixing technical problems hobbling the rollout of the Affordable Care Act.

Senators told Obama point blank that his administration needs to fix glitches that have left many of their constituents fuming and could threaten the pary's majority in the 2014 midterm elections.

These Dems voted for Obamacare, and now they are crying for the President to help them because they are up for re-election. They should have thought of that before they voted for Obamacare in the first place!

I think they should face charges for economic terrorism.

Fixing some computer glitch’s is not going to fix this cess pool of crap.

It will only help people to enroll in over expensive and costly deductible health care.

It’s the money stupid.

Their constituents are griping now about the website, but wait until the website actually works and they start complaining about the high premiums and deductibles, and that they can’t keep their doctors.

Those Rat Senator fools don’t realize that it’s a blessing in disguise that the website doesn’t work.

These Dems know it is about more than some website that will eventually b fixed, after a billion more dollars. Oh yes, and they know what is yet to come.

Tonight on Greta, a database expert made the comment that some people should be prosecuted over the credit card issue. The CC info is not normally requested at the beginning of any online transaction. He said something about the transaction fees. If a fee from the individual’s CC company is charged to the taxpayers every time a credit card is verified, does someone get a kickback? Or maybe a campaign contribution?

I don’t think anyone knows what is to come.

What is to come is just about anything Sebelius can think up.

This law is not a written law it is a live document that gives Government the right to do everything from bankrupting you to Euthanasia. The death panels are real.

That is one of my fears. Is that they will make it good for just enough of the population to keep their ilk in power. I wonder if they concluded the so called less than 5% of the population who shop on the individual market was worth the collateral damage?

Why did they delay the business mandate? Are the tweaking it to protect their base?

Like u said, no one knows. That is sometimes the worst part.

There are no quick fixes here. Whatever they put out there on Nov 30, if it works, will be reduced in scope and limited in functionality. I would be willing to guess that initially they(website rescuers) will determine what works. This will be the core of what rolls out on Nov 30.

The funny thing about all of this is that most business applications came about by adopting the rules and requirements of a manual paper system. The arrogant idiots responsible for this mess had no manual process to mimic or decided to ignore one and just go to code.

2,000+ pages of "law" plus 30,000 pages of "regulations", and they're going to "fix" what?

The members at the meeting were Mark Begich of Alaska, Cory Booker of New Jersey, Chris Coons of Delaware, Dick Durbin of Illinois, Al Franken of Minnesota, Kay Hagan of North Carolina, Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, Jeff Merkley of Oregon, Mark Pryor of Arkansas, Jack Reed of Rhode Island, Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, Brian Schatz of Hawaii, Mark Udall of Colorado, Tom Udall of New Mexico, Mark Warner of Virginia and Michael Bennet of Colorado, according to Senate aides and the White House…

All senators except for Bennet are up for re-election in 2014; Bennet is the chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

[Dems who voted for Obamacare are up for re-election]

I wonder if the GOP will even mention it in ads.

The meeting probably wasn’t constructive. Caesar told the Senators to pound sand.
