Hitler was only elected to a minor office, parliamentary wheeling and dealing got him to the top.
Hitler was never elected to ANYTHING. Period. He could not run for office in the Weimar Republic because he wasn’t a citizen. Laws were changed in ‘32, if I recall correctly and then he ran for President not a member of the German parliament.
