Last Night, We Got Our First Look At Chris Christie With The Woman He Might Pick For Vice President
Business Insider via Yahoo News ^ | November 5, 2013 | Brett LoGiurato

In his whole re-election campaign, Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.) has invited only one sitting out-of-state officeholder to campaign with him: New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez (R), who joined Christie at eight campaign events Monday, including a rally in heavily Hispanic Union City.

In many ways, Martinez is the perfect complement to Christie, amplifying his strengths as a politician. She is relatively young (54) and a moderate who maintains strong popularity in a blue state. She has worked closely with a legislature held by Democrats and bucked her party by taking the Medicaid expansion in Obamacare. Perhaps most importantly, she's almost 2,000 miles removed from the poisonous politics of Washington, D.C.

I question why she was there. Perhaps the VP thing is on the mark, because Christie really didn’t need her support. There was no question he would win the election.

Huge latino population in NJ urban areas. Christy brought her in because he wanted substantial latino numbers because they give the party rovians gordo woodies.

The GOPe is pushing Christie too. They actually sent resources and funding to NJ, unlike Virginia

Yes, and she fired two chefs that Bill Richardson had in the Governor’s Mansion.

She will already get much of the female (and the bisexual) vote. So as a good loyal Jackass, she should pick another “disadvantaged victim”.

Perhaps a Hispanic transvestite drug addict, or a Jewish candidate of any gender (possibly Ben Affleck or another Hollywood Idiot).

I said it before and I will say it again , Christie is unelectable as a Republican. He would kick Hillary's butt as a Democrat and could get elected POTUS.

I also believed that Obama would never get elected.

Both times.

How long before Michael Medved endorses these two as “the most electable?” Michael Savage already seems on board with this guy, too.

Christie, the libtard from NJ, will be the MSM darling just as the "Maverick" John McCain was.

Not surprising, the last time we ever heard the nickname "Maverick" John McCain after over two years of fawning by the MSM was the day before he got his ass kicked by Obama..........

That was my exact reaction. Of course I’m a big NO to CC but my Lord, if Martinez falls for this, I will be truly disappointed in her.

The credit goes to KC_Lion...we need to start playing the Alinsky game...they want to call us ‘Teabaggers’; that’s the label we hang on them...Uniparty. Uniparty extremists, at that.

Oh No, Not me, RKBA Democrat came up with that Phrase.

The Republicans and the Democarst have merged, you have Karl Rove and Mitch McConnel working with the Democrats to undermine the Tea Party, if that isn't a Uniparty I must not know what is.

That is why we can't be accepting of Progressivism when it has an "R" next to it.

The Lib's say we should be less Partisan?

Fine, I will stand with any Democrat who rejects the Progressives way of Bigger Government, if there are any left...I think there is like 6 of them, all the Moderate Dems in the 80's Hoped over to the Republican Party and kicked us out.

McCain and Graham aren't the RINO's, we are, the Republican Party is all for Big Government, Conservatives and Libertarians aren't that makes us one of their Enemies, and if that means throwing Cucenelli, Ted Cruz, Michele Bachmann, Sarah Plain to the wolves, Karl Rove doesn't care.

Progressivism is just shorthand for fascism. And both factions of the gop/’rat uniparty are unified in pursuing that.

The thing that I find most mind blowing though is that when you get down to it, the uniparty is far more of a threat to conservatism and our liberty than our counterparts on the far end of the other side of the political spectrum.

As my site name suggests, I’m very interested in gun politics. If you were to identify the states that are most conservative you’d probably pick states like Wyoming or Utah. Conversely the most left wing state is probably Vermont. And those 3 states have (arguably) the best gun freedoms in the country. Coincidence? I used to think that, but not so much anymore.

Oh I absolutely believe that....they are following the same script they did with Romney. The GOP are working both sides of the aisle in order to position or take down any standing in the way of their "Chosen Ones".....even taking down their own in order to set the playing field to their liking each one after their own piece of the pie they'll split after the fact!

..." the MSM darling"...

Funny to read today that Chris Matthews, of all people, is getting that chill up his leg over Christy...thinks he's the hero for the Republicans....lol...

They want Christie empowered to take out the Tea Party.

Then in turn, they will take out Christie.
