You are ignoring how close this race was....with all of the power of the dims and nothing from the Gopelite Cuccinelli had an up hill battle from the get go.
Too bad that they didn’t point out that the Libertarian candidate was really an O admin backed lefty. Too bad Ken didn’t hammer Ocare the whole time
What is amazing is that Cuccinelli came so close I hate to say it but VA is now solidly BLUE-—voting for BHO twice-—two liberal Dem US senators lots of government workers and contractors in Northern VA dependent upon big government.
This isn’t to say the Dems shouldn’t be nervous. The fact that Cuccinelli came so close means that Obamacare is proving to be real albatross. My guess is that Dems in red states are in deep do do next Fall.
Also keep in mind the electorate in midterm elections is generally older and whiter than it is general elections——obviously demographic factors which should give the Republicans a significant advantage in November 2014 coupled with massive disapproval of Obamacare. The so called government “shut down” will be long forgotten a year from now as the disastrous effects of Obamacare become front and center.
