Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius testifies before the Senate Finance Committee on the federal insurance exchange website and other issues related to the Affordable Care Act.
Her testimony comes exactly one week after she appeared before the House Energy and Commerce Committee where she apologized to the public for what she called the "debacle." Secretary Sebelius and other administration officials have said that problems with the healthcare.gov website will be fixed by the end of this month.
During her testimony today, she talks about the progress being made in that effort. Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT) chairs the committee while Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) serves as the ranking member.
“Best Repub to ask was Crapo - Idaho”
Yes. He kept up that point.
He said the law is not working as promised.
Like the cancellations and higher premiums.
Pinned Sebelius down when she said that premiums are now lower. She admitted “I did not mean that premiums are lower, but lower than PREDICTED.”
Who predicted? where are those projections?
they projected people’s premiums would go up, even more than they ARE going up, and Pinochio kept saying your premiums are going down by $2500 per year?!?
Does it seem like Sebelius is lying when she talks with her hands?
Does it seem like Sebelius is lying when her mouth is moving?
She’s truly a witch.
The evil spawn of idiot Ohio Gov Gilligan.
How she ever got elected in Kansas is beyond my brainpower to understand.
That too!
Sen Pat Roberts asking some tough questions.
Go Senator Roberts!
“Go Senator Roberts!”
GO GO GO!
Roberts is asking for resignation
We don't want her back.
he says
“you delayed over half the mandates”
REPEAT MY REQUEST FOR YOU TO RESIGN.
Good for him. Did you see the look on her face!
Does it seem like Sebelius is lying when she talks with her hands?
Just like Nancy Pelosi ,her right hand never stops ,LOL , the hand movement is a Democrat thing
“We don’t want her back. “
not even in the fed pen there?
HA!
Bob Mendendez it is the fault of the Republicans.
There's a very popular jewelry maker in DC (her name escapes me), and I purchased the same pin for my wife for Christmas last year. I bought it for her, because I saw a picture of Sarah Palin wearing it.
This year, she's getting a gift card for a couple of her favorite stores. After 25+ years of marriage, I've kind of thrown in the towel. She hardly wears that pin, and I proudly gave it to her after searching for it from that picture of Sarah. lol
How in the name of all that’s good and holy did she get elected there in the first place?
A noxious liberal interloper from Cincinnati?...
It is the fault of the republican governors .
Resignation > Good for him. Did you see the look on her face!
