Reminds me of the communistic outlook on agriculture in the Manifesto.
  1. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the State; the bringing into cultivation of wastelands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
  2. Equal liability of all to work. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
  3. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries; gradual abolition of all the distinction between town and country by a more equable distribution of the populace over the country. …
This illustrates where our “factory farming” has its source, never mind all the other scientific and governmental regulatory abominations.

Nonsense. Factory farming is an innovation created by capitalists maximizing their profits, not some communist conspiracy. The communist idea was for the state to control agriculture by using laborers with no interest in the land they were working. It really has nothing to do with factory farming where capitalists try to squeeze more profits out of their privately owned land.
