Republicans are voting at a higher rate throughout most of Colorado's counties, even in Democratic strongholds like Denver and Boulder counties.
Based on data provided Tuesday morning by the Secretary of State, 83,662 more Republicans than Democrats had submitted their ballots early. That data doesn't account for any ballots dropped off Tuesday or those completed and submitted at a polling place.

Just reported that it is not looking good for pro-66 supporters. Yippie!
I was going to start a CO election results thread. Amendment 66 has national implications as Bloomberg and the Gates donated heavily for its passage. Wanting to change the CO constitution and not only raise taxes but also have a tiered tax system.
Now being reported 66 is loosing at a 2 to 1 rate. !!!!!
I think we’ll take any kind of good news tonight.
Colorado Ping ( Let me know if you wish to be added or removed from the list.)
Well, shoot. Maybe we’ll get a bit of good news tonite. Christie winning isn’t much good news. Cuccinelli probably losing, even by a small margin, is still a loss and will be blamed on the Tea Party.
I could not be happier!
The large education tax Amendment 66 is apparently failing even in Boulder and Denver.
Is this the secession initiative?
Any news from the Alabama primary?
This is good news. I am very used to being out voted on tax issues almost every time. especially for school taxes.
School tax increase. I guess the children will be dying since the tax seems to be going down./s
7:40 p.m.: Rejection of Amendment 66 continued to hold strong with 42 percent of the statewide vote counted, as no votes held a 63-37 percent lead with over 600,000 votes cast.
The DUmmies spent more than $10 million ?
With 612,495 votes counted, Amendment 66 was losing with 65 percent of voters opposed and 35 percent of voters in support.
The Yes on 66 campaign is discouraged that only 847,660 votes have been cast statewide as of Monday morning theyd hoped to be over 1 million at this point with registered Republicans having turned in roughly 76,000 more ballots than registered Democrats.

Good news for private schools.
The Unions will not be happy.
Thanks george76.
Good! I hope the pot tax (unenforceable) goes down, too.
Cheers George!
