Dan Rather early on reported he had seen a film (Zapruder?) and Kennedy was turned to the side and was waving to the crowd—hence allowing him to be hit from the front in the throat even though his assassin was behind him.
Since there is no film showing such, Rather was presenting a cover story to explain the front throat wound.
Later, after the front throat wound was dropped altogether from the official story, that account by Rather was deep-sixed. (It may be around on the NET somewhere.)
But clearly no one wants anyone asking uncomfortable questions...
There were 2 films of the assassination (one from the other side of the street). Doesn’t change whether it was an entry or exit shot, just that “film” does not automatically mean Zapruder’s.
JERRY: Newman, Kramer, if you'll indulge me.
According to your story, Keith passes you and starts walking up the ramp, then you say you were struck on the right temple.
The spit then proceeds to ricochet off the temple, striking Newman between the third and forth rib.
The spit then came off the rib, turned, and hit Newman in the right wrist causing him to drop his baseball cap.
The spit then splashed off the wrist -- pauses in mid air mind you -- makes a left turn and lands on Newman's left thigh.
That is one magic loogie.
