“The happiest guys tonight are Cory Booker and Deval Patrick, one of whom will end up as Hillary’s VP.”

Hillary’s VP will be Castro from San Antonio.

possibly. But I don’t think a mayor has enough oomph for a natl ticket. Also, one of the reasons the dems won FL the last two times was they did well with hispanics and cubans in FL. I don’t think putting a guy named Castro on the ticket will go over well there. It’s why Gore lost FL. Elian Gonzales cost the dems the state. Clinton got 35% of the cuban vote in 96. Gore got 20% in 00.

Clinton herself will do well enough with hispanics. They’ll need to balance out the ticket.

But Castro will be in the mix. If he was a Gov or Senator and his name was Lopez, he’d be a shoe-in.

That would be my prediction as well. Woman/Hispanic firsts. The only thing that gives me a bit of hesitation w that predition (besides the obvious)...is that Castro is so young looking.
