I don’t know about Mark Obenshain. Anyone in VA know if Obenshain won the AG position? Last I heard, the race was too close to call...

Nope. Obenshain now “trails” by 600 after leading all night long. Sounds like those boxes of extra pre-marked (D) ballots came in handy after all. A supposed “reporting error” in one northern county ripped away ... get ready for it .... 600 votes.

When I went to bed last night Herring had just overtaken him due to a transcription error in Loudoun County. Mcawful had around 800 votes in that precinct and it was showing Herring with 62. I’m guessing the actual total was 672 and the 7 got dropped.

Herring leads by 378 votes per the AP at 8:24 eastern. Obenshain should overtake the lead again because the outstaning precincts are Republican and a transcription error in Buchanan County that should net Obenshain another 200 or so votes. Then the provisionals and then the recount i’m assuming.
