Well, I’m not a republican. Never have been. Probably never will be. So I guess I get a pass on that one? I’m an independent ANTI-partisan. I view the political parties, including most of the third parties, as more or less equally worthless.

There are few things that the founders feared more than entrenched politcal parties.

And have been more succesful than ever would have thought.

It took a literal Civil War to create a New one.

And you are right Democrat, the Republicans are exactly what they profess to be. A big Government Party that want a new base, they don't want Conservatives or Libertarians as their base, they want Efficient Government loving base, that is why they pander to the Democrat base! They WANT TO BE THE DEMOCRATS CHOICE! That should tell you something right there.

Oh and to answer your question. Yes you get a pass because you have never been a republican ;P
