From the Roanoke paper:

As of 3 p.m. in Salem, 14,530 votes had been cast out of 61,673 registered voters, a turnout of 23.56 percent.

In Botetourt County, 7,660 votes out of 23,195 registered voters had been cast as of 3 p.m., a turnout of 33.02 percent.

In Roanoke, the turnout count showed that, as of 3 p.m., 23.56 percent of 61,675 registered voters had voted.

Roanoke County’s turnout as of 3 p.m. was 31.68 percent, with 21,295 votes cast out of 67,224 registered voters.

Turnout numbers in Franklin and Montgomery counties were not yet available as of about 4 p.m.

10,000-10,900 would be normal for Botetort based on the last 2 Governor elections, so it is still down.

Roanoke County’s turnout has been close to 31,000 votes that last 2 Governor races, so it is still down.

Roanoke City 23.56% is about 14,500. Normal Turnout is around 20-22,000 for the last 2 Governor’s races, so it is still down.

Still time to catch up before polls come, people getting off work.
