The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which runs the federal governments major health-care programs as well as the Obamacare insurance exchange, spent $1,113,178,000,000 in fiscal 2013, according to the Monthly Treasury Statement for September, which was released last week.

liberals tell us this is progress, that it’s wrong to want to change things back.
when you make suck-ass changes , you ought to have the balls to change back to what worked better. being progressive doesn’t mean that’s change, that means you’re a stinkin liberal trying to ram’your agenda through.
That’s over $3500 per year for every man, woman and child spent by the Federal government and does not include the over $400 Billion that is spent by government at the State and local level. Until recently when ObamaCare started killing the market, a high deductible health plan that included free annual check-ups for medical, dental and vision, as well as free immunizations, was about $3500 per year. Imagine, without the bureaucracy and need for a 2700 page bill the government could simply have given everyone a voucher for a high deductible plan which they could get as a minimum and we could have had true universal health coverage at enormous savings. What people normally spend on health insurance premiums could just be paid into a health savings account to cover the deductibles.
The amount spent is such a huge part of total spending. At this rate, our financial system will collapse soon.
