I guess I don’t know the rules of what qualifies as breaking news around here even after 16 years+, it got moved to extended news. Well it will die a quick death now. I wonder if it will turn out to be much of anything beyond a “normal” shooting?

You could add the word ‘breaking’ to the topics section and put it back into breaking news.

I could not get any feed from the scanner sites.

Don't feel too bad. I posted an earthquake to breaking while the ground was still shaking.

It got kicked out of breaking.

What's more breaking than an earthquake???
