First, even though I cannot possibly respond to each and every post, I want to thank you all very much from the bottom of my heart for the outpouring of love, support and prayer while I was in the hospital and continuing during the recovery. It's going to be a long process rebuilding my strength and discovering how to do for myself all the things I used to do, but I am determined not to let the loss of my legs stop me. God willing, I'm not done yet! There's way too much work to be done. We've barely begun to fight these socialist/crony capitalist bastards and highway robbers who are trying to destroy this free nation that was inspired by God and rob us of not only the fruits of our labor, but also of our individual rights and freedoms that were granted by Him. God willing, we will persevere in this fight. The cost of liberty is eternal vigilance!
And thank you all very much for your Happy Birthday wishes yesterday. I can assure you it was my happiest birthday ever. Just to be alive and home, surrounded by loving family and friends and with the love, prayers, support and encouragement of our extended FReeper family is the greatest birthday gift ever and it means all the world to me. I am so grateful and so happy. God bless you all.
And now we're nearing the half-way point in the last FReepathon of the year. We'll soon be to the point where we roll in the monthlies and we'll be on the homestretch. Then, once over the top, we'll have the funds needed to complete the year and we can better concentrate on our main mission, fighting the evil bastards at every step and restoring our God given freedom!
Were going to need FR now more than ever because we're in for the fight of our lives against the entrenched ruling class who are dead set on running our lives through their unconstitutional socialist/statist policies! And, yes, eventually, the nation-wrecking, liberty-killing Obamacare must be repealed and free enterprise restored! We must promote and elect dedicated, constitution defending, liberty defending tea party conservatives to get this job done (hello Ted Cruz)!
FR is funded solely by the donations made by the people who love and use it. We sell no advertising or merchandise. We have no corporate sponsors or sugar daddies and accept no government subsidies. This means no annoying commercial ads, no ad tracking, and no pop ups!! And no outside influences trying to pressure, sway or control us. Its just us freedom-loving grassroots conservatives exercising our first amendment rights by using and funding one of our favorite and most useful news and activism organizations.
Thank you all very much for your continuing support!! Your loyal support keeps FR alive and is truly and greatly appreciated.

Please consider Donating Monthly if you can. We have some very generous FReeper Sponsors who are Donating an extra $10 for each New Monthly Donor signed up. We now have 41 New Monthly Donors signed up this quarter, including 8 new Dollar-a-Day Donors!! Thank you very much, New Monthly Donors and New Monthly Sponsors!!
And we now have 130 Donations this quarter of $100 or more!! FReeper I_be_tc donates $100 per quarter and challenges 300 other FReepers to do the same. If you donate $100 or more per quarter, please let Jim know and well add your name to the 300 Club Roster! If we can get 300 members sending in a $100 or more per quarter, these fundraisers would run much faster.
Prayers up for our beloved nation.
Special prayers for all our members in need.
God bless and keep you all and everyone you love.

No I haven’t. My Dad was in from 1941 - 1947. He always had a place for everything. The towel ‘station’, the medicine ‘station’, the fill in the blank ‘station’. And it had better be there! And no more than a five minute shower. LOL!

So much like my father, except it was the towel locker, the medicine locker and so on. :) When I was in high school he wanted all of the girls in our family to have hair down to our waists, but to wash it with bar bath soap. He was almost completely inflexible. :)
From about he time I was eight, he began teaching me defensive techniques. At about the same time, he insisted that we wear boy's high top black basketball shoes with our party dresses. That didn't last long, but it was really quite an experience.
