CAIRO (AP) — U.S. Secretary of State John F. Kerry, in an apparent warning to Iran, tried to reassure America’s Arab friends on Sunday that the United States will not allow them to be attacked “from outside.”
He specifically mentioned Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan and Egypt as nations, alongside unspecified “others,” that the U.S. will defend. Those others likely would include Israel, the strongest U.S. ally in the region.
“The United States will be there for the defense of our friends and our allies,” Mr. Kerry told reporters in Cairo. “We will not allow those countries to be attacked from outside. We will stand with them.”
Mr. Kerry spoke during the first stop on his trip to the Middle East, Europe and North Africa.
After Egypt, he headed later Sunday to Saudi Arabia, where the biggest rifts with the Obama administration have emerged.

Israel needs to operate as if this is not true.
I think they’re operating with full knowledge that Obama has isolated them. Obama certainly has gone out of his way to make it public knowledge that his sympathies lie with the Islamic “governments” — Israel’s enemies, who have sworn to wipe them off the face of the Earth.
The middle east has been a stalwart ally for America to lean on in all it’s misadventures. This must be true as we continue to allow our feckless government to shovel billions of dollars into each country.
We have lost this world strategy game and need to pull ALL troops, close all posts and bring our dwindling assets home. Further we need to impeach this moronic ,socialist, Muslim, cupcake (yes, Barry does have an identity problem) and fully realize that he is the biggest mistake ever made in American history.
We are in a terrible pickle.

Yeah, and you can keep your health insurance too... the guy in prison who caused Benghazi - the film maker - we nipped that in the bud... and you can keep your doctor - our word is good - that's what I told the Cambodians...after we shot unarmed children in Vietnam.
I'm conflicted. On the one hand, I wouldn't shed a tear for those countries. On the other hand, I know it will end up wasting the lives of our brave military men and women.
