WELCOME TO OBAMA’S ANIMAL FARM

“Comrades!” [Squealer the pig] cried. “You do not imagine, I hope, that we pigs are doing this in a privilege of selfishness and privilege. Many of us actually dislike milk and apples. I dislike them myself. Our sole object in taking these things is to preserve our health. Milk and apples (this has been proved by Science, comrades) contain substances absolutely necessary to the well-being of a pig. We pigs are brainworkers. The whole managment and organisation of the farm depend on us. Day and night we are watching over your welfare. It is for your sake that we drink that milk and eat those apples. Do you know what would happen if we failed in our duty? Jones would come back! “ George Orwell Animal Farm

THE most dangerous gov’t is the one that forces laws on the basis of compassion and goodness. This is from Ludwig von Mises Institute:

“The happy voter is the one who refuses to grasp the obvious point that government serves as a vehicle for the worst in society to play out their violent fantasies. As Hayek put it, “the unscrupulous and uninhibited are likely to be more successful” in operating the machinery of total intimidation. It is always from the throne of authority that the worst deeds are accomplished. This includes mass aggression against property as well as the truth. The productive capacity of society is decimated enough by government’s necessarily parasitical operation; the public’s concept of verity is challenged by the various ministries of agitprop that disguise their actions as beneficial rather than schemes of plunder.”

If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan… If you like your insurance plan, keep that… If you like what you’re getting keep it, If you like your doctor, you keep it, no one’s forcing you to shift… period! Barack Hussein Obama

Fact “40 to 67 percent of customers will not be able to keep their policy.”

Fact: The White House knew in 2010 that up to 93 million workers would lose their company health plans under Obamacare

The Democrats new solution – force doctors to accept Medicare and Medicare (socialized medicine Cuban style)

Beward: This article pretends to take a stance against Obamacare.

But at the end it does a U-turn and says we need it.

I misread the headline. At first I thought it said Obama Critics Crucified.

My first thought was, "It was just a matter of time."

Once I saw it was a USSA Today piece, I knew I was never gonna get to the end of it.

Thanks for the heads up just the same.

This article is a stealth BARF alert. It actually defends Obamacare as if written by the White House.

Yes indeed - and their argument is totally bogus with very selective information. No mention of the plans which were very real insurance with reasonable premiums and deductibles having the premiums skyrocket as well as the deductibles - meaning they could have outpatient surgery (like shoulder surgery) and have to foot the entire bill because of their huge deductible thanks to Obamacare. No discussion either about medical clinics scaling back operations which will negatively effect everyone at a time when we need more medical providers, and certainly not fewer.

Their editorial is just more misinformation to the low information crowd.

Well then. That settles it. What every USA Today says must be true.

Interesting article. I thought for a minute they might “get it”.

It did address the lady on the news with the $54 a month premium she was losing. I’ve been wondering where in the heck she got insurance that cheaply. Turns out it was a “discount policy”. No matter...it was her choice. If this author doesn’t think we are all picking up the slack for Ocare...they have another think coming. Just like any unpaid expense this lady would have incurred.

Thanks for posting.

No mention of what happens when the hammer comes down on the company plans. Then the people get the full hillary treatment. Mother knews best: she has an Ivy league education.

Wow, these people are idiots. They try to justify taking away peoples’ right to buy their own level of coverage indicating that too many of these people end up bankrupt (iow they’re not paying for their “fair share”).....But, they also say it’s not that big a hardship for individuals since most of these people will qualify for subsidies.

So.....people shouldn’t be able to purchase what Obama considers “sub-standard” insurance because they could eventually become a burden on the rest of us? Instead, USA says it’s far better for folks to purchase obamacare now and become an immediate burden on the rest of us when we subsidize their insurance costs.

Idiots.

to believe that someone in the media, in this case usa today, would look at obamacare and think that, ok, maybe it is bad for the country, presupposes that those in the msm want to see this country prosper.
what people need to realize is that most of the msm are 60’s revolutionaries who want to change this country into their image. obamacare is the main vehicle to Marxism (just think of the ways they can force you conform when they own your health).

Once the regime is established, the nonproductive will be forced to work. Work makes you free, don’t you know?

Obamacare doesn't terminate any of those plans, and Obama wanted to sound reassuring. But surely he knew that a major goal of his own law was to wipe out cheap coverage that was insurance in name only.

Tells you everything you need to know about where USA Today stands on the issue.

Your right, a typical commie regime, once completely in control, has jobs for everyone. All the worthless POS’s getting freebees will be forced into the worker’s paradise system. The lazy freeloaders of this nation are truly the useful idiots, literally.
