Disagree. The whole government shutdown was about Obamacare. The media said the Republicans lost.
Now it looks like they might have been right after all. Perfect set up for the next go round 2 months from now.

Face the Nation...
Feinstein? Really? Rogers and Hayden? Oh, I see. “Purple-faced rage” Bob is deftly trying to slew off one Obama debacle with another... The spying on all of us scandal.
Get Feinstein and Rogers to agree spying is bad but it’s a necessary and important tool for the War on Terror (that Obama no longer fights), and Hayden to remind us that in the end, it’s Bush’s fault.

Stop blaming the media. It’s a sidebar distraction. The main problem right now is we do not have an engaged opposition party to fight rampaging Alinskyite Dems.
The Senate GOP preemptively surrendered on obamacare. Boehner had to be dragged into the battle and then he did the absolutely minimum required.
Now the beltway GOP are giving kenyancare “room” to fail. It’s the same old loser tip toe to the election strategy from the GOPe.
Don’t confuse what the establishment does with what Patriots like Cruz are doing. When Fox is putting a liberal like Graham front and center you know the fix is in.

If the Republicans were willing to actually take CREDIT for trying to stop Obamacare via the shutdown it might translate into positive political momentum.
But the Republicans APOLOGIZE for the shutdown and make no effort whatsoever to explain that it was ALL ABOUT Obamacare.
And they were so easily hornswaggled by media polling that didn’t ask who was to BLAME for the shutdown, just who was RESPONSIBLE for it.
It would have been so easy for Rep. R to say, “Yes. The people are correct as usual. We are trying to stop this hideous Obamacare and do get the CREDIT for shutting down the 17 percent of government as we have.”
Take CREDIT, not BLAME. (But they are too stupid and are HORRIBLE at politics—which is all about ALWAYS taking credit, and NEVER taking blame.)
