Outspent and behind in the polls, Republican Ken Cuccinelli began his Saturday early in reliably Republican western Henrico County, confident his campaign is gaining momentum.
He implored supporters not to be outworked in the final three days of the race for governor. “They have money -- we have momentum,” Cuccinelli told more than 100 people crammed into Mimi's Restaurant in Short Pump for bacon, eggs and a helping of encouragement to knock on enough doors over the next 72 hours to tilt the county in his favor.
“You all are in one of the swing counties -- this is going to be one of those bellwethers,” said the candidate, dressed in black cowboy boots, jeans and a blazer. “If we win Henrico, the odds are pretty darn good we win this race. I need you all to push that through for me.”

Has Ron Paul been there yet or is he supposed to be there Monday? So many goings on, I lose track. Haven’t wanted to say anything about Cuccinelli because I don’t want to jinx him, but have been praying hard that he pulls it off. mc is lower than scum and I will never understand why he has been in the lead all this time.
What do you think that is? Just Dems playing around or early voting numbers?
I thought Ron Paul was making the statewide rounds with Ken this weekend but the website says Monday in Richmond. Mark Levin hit it out of the park today with his remarks at the Leesburg rally.
Great to hear people are working hard for Cooch. The momentum going into the election is with him. And as he has pointed out, he has come from behind in races before. I really hope coal country turns out big.

I was told today at the Leesburg rally that Ron Paul rarely endorses a candidate so this is unique. And you’re right, the anti-Fed youth vote should be motivated to turn out on Tuesday.
