Here they’re doing two “premium” sandwiches (Whopper, Original Chicken, Pulled Pork, Alaskan Fish) for $5. It must be popular, they’ve been extending it for months now.
that sounds like a fairly decent deal.
I do like places that give you a reasonable price on things.
you can take one home for the next day, too.
the BK fish was a bit crunchier for my personal taste, but a good enough sandwich. I think it must not cost much more than that normally, though?
I think these drive thru places have some reasonable prices and I do go there occasionally. (I can still make healthier, I think, food at home for less... but we have to “live it up” once in awhile, if only for a change of routine.
the last time I went to BK I ordered the double whopper with cheese and took half of it home, appetite not being what it used to be.
i do try to avoid the soda pops. not good for you. you should see them sometimes when you ask for a (free) glass of water. ha . “Water? what’s water?” but they do manage to produce it on request.
my Dad used to forbid me soda pops. I am glad he did. He gave me bad enough teeth without any more cavities from sugar sodas, ha!
