WEST POINT, N.Y. Two West Point graduates were married Saturday in the military academy's first wedding between two men.
Larry Choate III, class of 2009, married Daniel Lennox, class of 2007, before about 20 guests.
Choate, 27, taught Sunday school at the U.S. Military Academy's Cadet Chapel and said he always thought of it as the place he would get married if he could.
West Point hosted two same-sex weddings of women in late 2012, more than a year after New York legalized same-sex marriage. But Saturday's wedding was the first time two men wed at West Point.

So now when a soldier tells another that he’s “Got your back” it has a completely different meaning than it did in previous eras.

It’s much worse. Our wonderful military is being assaulted in a number of ways by this administration. I received an email today from Jay Sekulow, ACLJ Chief Counsel ( his organization sends these out regularly) informing me that they are seeing an increasing number of cases where military personnel are being taught that “evangelical Christians” and members of the Tea Party are extremists.
It is spiritual and material warfare!
Its all about spite.
I find it intriguing that people truly believe this can occur and then we can just go on about our lives, merrily, like all is okay. It will not be so. God will not be mocked.
It is hard to watch my beloved America be so torn down. I am not supposed to hate, Obama puts me to the test, as do the people who voted for him. I literally refuse to speak to anyone I know that voted for that....

I’m almost to the same point , yet I have to work and in the workplace there are many that do not see things our way . So I don’t ask , I avoid as much as possible . And others do not mention politics , so there is much silence on these matters .FR provides a much needed outlet . I can speak (write) as I feel . This is our community . I appreciate it very much .

Blow Army!
No Honor boards anymore. The Code has been disgraced by the Institution of the Academy itself. By that violation alone it should be closed. And every other Federal service academy as well, as they have all violated their Honor Codes similarly.
