The history of Honduras is full of actions contrary to the rule of law. Multiple coups (the last on June 28, 2009), who have broken the precarious legality in the country. Despite this extreme fragility, the current National Party government (led by Porfirio "Pepe" Lobo and presidential candidate Juan Orlando Hernandez) is breaking records in terms of authoritarianism and lack of attachment to any kind of legal procedure. All with the goal of controlling every one of the key state institutions, promoting projects that benefit powerful groups and to ensure the electoral victory of Juan Orlando Hernandez. Let's analyze the trajectory of this government since 2009.
In a capital city accustomed to daily bloodshed, the man in charge of enforcing the law is more feared than the criminals themselves. As a quote from the Associated Press on Nov. 1 puts it, "few dare speak his name above a whisper."

The nazi president has made no secret of his desire to lay the rule of law in Honduras to waste.

I do know that “Fast and Furious” had a parallel operation running guns into Honduras. What was that about?
Honduras has been overrun in recent years by MS13 that is almost out of control. Not to mention the effort by the communists to take control (aided and abetted by Obama and the State Department).
So, has the current government declared war on them? Or is this something darker? There used to be a freeper who posted from Honduras. It would be nice if someone on the ground there could comment.
When they were fighting off Zelaya and the communists, we saw constant press reports attacking them (fed no doubt from the State Department). So is this more of the same?
Bump! God help the brave Hondurans. They stood up to Zelaya and Obama. There has been a bloodbath since.
