Erick Wyatt, a 37-year-old veteran of the war in Iraq, is running for Sen. John Cornyns seat in the Republican primary in March 2014.
The young Veteran said he does not think Cornyn is doing a good job representing Texas, and the current Senator is a moderate at best.
Wyatt is currently the youngest challenger up for Cornyns seat, but believes his young age and lack of political background is an advantage because it gives him greater opportunity to relate to the working middle class and the younger generation.

Go cry with Dewhurst.
If that is true, he should know that us varlets may have a "perception" of how the Senate SHOULD work....therefore get out there before shtf, and at least try to kill the perceived notion that most Senate R's are using weasel tactics to "fool" constituents?
My perception is that the Senate R's who voted for "cloture" in fact, voted for O/C to go forward. The proper vote was vote against cloture and let all who vote for get on the record as being FOR O/C going into affect.
Voting for cloture and then voting against O/C when they knew for sure that the D votes alone would prevail is the lowest kind of weasel-ality that I can think of.
If he doesn't win by 10 or 15 points, maybe only by 2 or 3 may cause him to have a little more respect for TP conservatives.
Like I say, I intend to vote in the primaries for Mr Wyatt..& vote for Cornyn in the general elections if Wyatt loses the primaries.
