I know a very successful business owner who is shutting down after 35+ years in good business. Twenty or so guys are going to be un-employed (but compensated; the owner is awesome). His reasoning? Obamacare is going to thrust this country into a recession worse than 2008 and he is not going to subsidize bad government decisions again. I don't blame him in the slightest; he's worked hard, stayed honest and all the while he's had government agencies and bureaucracies climbing all over him and his business. Yet another long lasting company scuttling operations. Congrat's liberals; but I don't think this is all going to work out as you think.

Side note. I just got word from a friend that Del Monte (canned foods on your grocery shelf?) was sold a few weeks back; to an asian company overseas.

I have referred to some 20-something friends I have before...Two of them just found out they are losing their jobs. (Well, one of the two jobs they each have). Why? obamacare. Not just them, last in first out. Nope, the entire business is closing, about three or four dozen people out of work.

The evidence is that the economy is now operating slower then it has the entire time Obama and the Progresso’s have been in town. And I know this as a fact because I have traveled the country to seven different major cities this year to conduct business. Right now we are at rock bottom. Not 911 levels of activity, but as close as you can get with the planes still flying.

Gotta say I’m hooked on the Kelly File. Megyn is a real firebrand and takes no BS from anyone! She makes everyone else in the Fox news lineup look pale and limp-wristed in comparison. She already left Richard Madcow in the ratings dust the second day of her show. In another month, she’ll easily knock BOR out of first place.
