The despicable Tip O’Neil and that loathsome Robert Byrd would have *never* ceded *any* congressional power ever, even to a Democrat president. But Boehner and McConnell seem fine with it all.

I’m talking both sides of the isle. McCain, Graham, McConnell et. al. have scooted their desks over and right into the aisle, thereby eliminating any division between parties.
