That was the case when Chris Frates, an investigative correspondent at the Cable News Network, reported on Friday that "Senate Democrats voted unanimously three years ago to support the ObamaCare rule that is largely responsible for some of the health insurance cancellation letters that are going out.”
“In September 2010, Senate Republicans brought a resolution to the floor to block implementation of the grandfather rule,” Frates wrote, “warning that it would result in cancelled policies and violate President Barack Obama’s promise that people could keep their insurance if they liked it.”
At that time, Chuck Grassley -- a Republican senator from Iowa -- stated:
The District of Columbia is an island surrounded by reality. Only in the District of Columbia could you get away with telling the people if you like what you have, you can keep it, and then pass regulations six months later that do just the opposite and figure that people are going to ignore it.
The administration's own regulations prove this is not the case. Under the grandfathering regulation, according to the White House's own economic impact analysis, as many as 69 percent of businesses will lose their grandfathered status by 2013 and be forced to buy government-approved plans,

The idea is to force people to buy from the government.
Why haven’t we heard this every day since Oct.1st?
The GOP does not want to succeed. They want to remain the minority party. Why do I let my bp get so high over these losers??
blah, blah, blah, blah

The media waited 3 years to report these things.
Next year they will be “old news” for the elections
On a party line vote, Democrats killed the resolution,
which could come back to haunt vulnerable Democrats
up for re-election this year...”
If I’d just had my insurance canceled and I heard this and saw proof, there’d be no way that I would vote for any person that went along with this.
This is why Senate Republicans are so stupid. The Democrats will not be a majority in the Senate a year from now. They won’t use the nuclear option because as the minority they want to gum up the works. When will the Senate GOP get that they have a lot more power than they’re using? It’s time to wring more budget concessions out of Obama. He cannot veto bipartisan bills without looking even loonier than he does now.
........get a summary of the pro-policyholder Republican amendment, with a list of EVERY SINGLE DEMOCRAT who voted against protecting policyholders, and use it in upcoming elections....in letters to the editor, ads, fliers, bumper stickers, lawn signs, etc..........

THEY CAN RUN--BUT THEY CANT HIDE
The O/Care debacle is looking more and more like the House check-kiting scandal years back. Dems--even in safe seats--were tossed out by angry constituents (cackle).

Democrats Scramble to Distance Themselves from Obamacare (RATS want a refund)
Breitbart | 10/30/13 | Wynton Hall / FR Posted November 01 by Libloather
**SNIP** Other Democrats now say they agree with Republicans that a delay of the individual mandate may be the only way to salvage the disaster and save face. "I think the administration is going to have to look at it [delay of the individual mandate]. and I'd encourage them to do so," said Rep. Gene Green (D-TX).
Five Democrats have now asked for the Obama Administration to seek a refund from the contractors responsible for the Obamacare website fiasco.
GUILTY CONSCIENCES FROM VOTING FOR O/CARE? Reps. Ron Barber (D-AZ), William Enyart (D-IL), Pete Gallego (D-TX), Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), and Filemon Vela (D-TX) wrote a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder urging the reimbursement effort.
“This is a scandal bigger than Benghazi...”
There is no such thing as a scandal when Progressives are involved, only mis-steps and mistakes by people who “love”
humanity.
IMHO
Why haven’t the Republican senators been screaming about this for the last three years?
The idea is to CONTROL PEOPLE!!! Anyone think that republicans will get the SAME health care as Democrats....NO because they KNOW how we vote and who we give money to, and Republicans will NOT get the same as Democrats.
