will Israel ever learn who she can trust, and who she can’t?
“Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in the multitude of their chariots and in the great strength of their horsemen, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel, or seek help from the LORD.”
Isaiah 31:1
The 21st century version would substitute “USA” for “EGYPT”.
Israel must (and will) admit that she can only trust in the Lord God and His Messiah, Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, there will be much grief before she does.
“For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
