This was not true, period.
I call that a lie.
And look. I admire the president. I support the Affordable Care Act insofar as it was clearly the most ambitious expansion of coverage that could possibly have eked through Congress.
And it's tempting for me to spin Obama's lies as omissions, oversimplifications or plain old political salesmanship and rhetorical inflation. Means that justified the ends.
The result is a greater threat to the future of heath care reform than a glitchy website or balky millennials ignoring the insurance mandate — a loss of trust. Period.

Isn’t it the case that the original law did grandfather in most plans but 2010 regulations mandated the additional coverages, so it would have been true at the time...?

(1) Raise more tax revenue; call it healthcare but cutting costs, denying benefits, and using death panels on senior citizens will allow the system to be more profitable
(2) Create national citizen registry conisting of personal and financial inormationl
(3)!used as pretext to install implants into citizens for myriad of reasons inluding tracking, automated access to itizen information, and control / compliance measures as needed
(4) implement on worldwide level to assist implementation of New World Order With Zunited Znations acting as central governing authority.
