An 11-year-old boy was convicted on Friday of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in a fifth-grade plot against a female classmate.
Judge Allen Nielsen of Stevens County Superior Court said on Friday that simple anger had fueled the plot, which the boy devised this year with a 10-year-old classmate at Fort Colville Elementary School in northeast Washington.
Staff members seized a handgun and a knife that the boys took to school on Feb. 7.
The judge, who called the trial the most serious of my career, rejected defense efforts to portray the boy as unable to separate fact from fiction.

Well, they do say that there are multiple intelligences. IQ tests only cover analytical type of intelligence. There’s still musical intelligence. Athletic intelligence. And the conspiring for murder intelligence.
Obviously this kid is just under appreciated for his unique smarts.
Maybe Valerie Jarrett will hire him for a Spite House opening .

Good gravy! I’m not surprised by much of anything anymore, but man. When I was 11, my biggest problem with girls were that they had cooties. I couldn’t imagine even pushing a girl, much less trying to harm or kill one.
Of course, I was also raised not to hit a guy from behind, not to kick someone when they were down, and so on. Meaning I probably wouldn’t last long in public school these days.

My friend has a daughter...she is 24 now...she was breathtaking at 17 ...long blond hair...athlete ....senior yr.H.S. 120lbs standing in class in line at the door hit from behind in the back of the head with a heavy text book...knocked out cold..kicked in the face..many times...by a black girl from detroit...250+ lbs.new student...said she

Detention for Cally...the one hit in the head....no consequence for the girl who threatened her life for no reason.
Thats school today....And this story is not altered from the 10* witnesses in the class.
If I had a child going to school today I would consider self defense training important as math.
Its over for me mine is grown...she beat 4 kids in school that I know of...all boys all bigger than her 2 in defense of other kids.
Im glad shes out free of head injury.
