As the polls tighten in the Virginia gubernatorial race, Democrat Terry McAuliffe is dropping his front-runner swagger and warning that he could lose.
In an email to supporters meant to inspire them to vote, he said simply: “Ignore the polls.”
Some polls show that the race is getting close, with Republican Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli getting to as close as three points in one poll, though most still show McAuliffe with a significant lead.
But the former Democratic Party chairman is worried about turnout in a year when voters are turned off by both candidates and there is no other headline-grabbing election dragging voters to the polls.

What matters, Virginians, is that KC beats MacAuliffe, because if that happens, two things are likely, Hillary Clinton goes nowhere and Barack Hussein Obama is toast as an effective POTUS!!! That’s the story!!! Dont’ waste your vote on a third party candidate!!! Get off your duff and vote for KC on election day and save our country from those that hate it!!!
Just remember.....Chris Christie is going to slaughter his weak Democrat low life candidate next Tuesday...and then quickly shift right politically. All the signs and words are there!!! I know that a lot of “our” folks are not happy with Christie...but a double win in both New jersey and Virginia literally destroys the Democrat Party going into the November, 2014 mid-term elections, where if we win both the Senate & House...we rule the roost!!! Get out and vote next Tuesday and hand Terry MacAuliffe a massive loss he never dreamed of!!!
And........RNC and other “traitor” RINOS....get your butts and bucks in gear and head into Virginia to give KC everthing, every tools he needs to beat MacAuliffe!!! We are watching!!!
My 15 year old son is a volunteer for the Cuccinelli campaign. He has worked with them since the day school got out in June. He has knocked on almost 2000 doors and made over 1500 phone calls since mid-June. He’s recruited a bunch of kids from his high school to help. These kids have put in a lot of hard work. This is being repeated throughout Virginia. Ken has the ground game and Terry does not. Terry relies on his lying TV ads and his B.S. “gender gap” with women.
I went to the office on Tuesday after work to pick him up for dinner. I spoke with the campaign team in the office about the polling. They told me the demographics were all wrong and that the media is using the Obama 2012 models rather than the normal VA gubernatorial demos. When you use those numbers, it is a dead heat.
They also told me that this Saturday they have 150 volunteers coming in to knock on doors and make phone calls. That’s just this district’s office. It is also being repeated state-wide. OBTW - we will also get to meet Ken this weekend as he is coming to our town!
Let Terry bring Obama in on Sunday to “help” his campaign. Tie Obamacare around both of their necks. That’s what Ken is doing. I’m cautiously optimistic, but fear anything close will result in the fraud machine to turn on full (calling Al Franken?). Gotta watch those ballots magically appearing in people’s trunks, office desks, etc.

Let’s hope. I get so sick and tired of the ignore the polls mantra and find out they turn out true. 2012 made me sick! I believed the FREEPERS over the expert pollers and found out the we were wrong. The New Jersey Governor FREEPERS again were saying we had this election in the bag and lost and now they are saying we have a significant change to win this race. I hope it is not three strikes and your out with regards to projection wins.

Nothing personal but I'm so damn sick of hearing this. Everyone just accepts that we should be prepared to lose to fraud.
NO, HELL NO!! Anyone in VA, call your voting hdqtrs, offer to be a poll watcher, challenge any suspicious absentee ballots.
Most important, get any attempt to cheat out in the open, post it on the web, call the local news agencies. If we accept fraud then we lose ev everything, our freedom and our country, we lose America.
Sorry about the rant but this is THE most important issue we have today, not Obamacare or guns or anything else, honest elections have to be top priority or the rest just goes away.
