BTW, does it ever occur to you that not everyone from CA is a “whacko liberal?” One of my HS classmates and her husband just moved to CO from Sonoma, CA. They are staunch conservatives. Better check under your bed though, there may be a “communist from California” lurking under there. Also, I don’t know CO law, but here in CA you have to reregister your car within 30 days of becoming a resident. Maybe all those CA license plates belong to tourists spending their money to support you!
My idiot niece moved from SF to Boulder. I’m sure there are many like her. Cali is so far left they export to Nev, Az, Co, NM, etc turning them blue, yet still Cali voting Obama and Feinstein +20.

Laws aside, kali drivers do not register their cars within 30 days, few of anyone does. In fact, many from Florida keep registering in FLA via mail because it is cheaper there.

The "Cali-commies are ruining Colorado" meme is not true. For the past few years Wisconsin is the most common, followed by Massholes, New York, Chicago and Delaware. Lots of Ohio too. There was a surge of Pennsylvania cars a year ago, none lately.
I prefer the Californians. They at least know how to drive. All the northeast transplants have Obama bumper stickers. Especially the Prius owners.

Almost every state has such a time frame for re-registering your vehicles & getting a new driver’s license.
That doesn’t mean there are not lots of cheats.
