McShame is laughing from his ivory tower. We must target his House amnesty-troll allies in 2014 to stop them from ramming this through. This is of paramount importance.

But.. I heard he was a maverick.
He was the maverickiest maverick that ever mavericked, you betcha.

So what McCain is saying is that lying to get a nomination or win an election is acceptable behavior? That tells me he's proud of what he does.
Just when I think it's impossible to like McCain more than I already do, he opens his mouth again.

But there are a number of members of Congress who have primaries and when those primaries are done, they may be more inclined to address the issue of comprehensive immigration reform. Translation: There are a number of members of Congress who will need to lie to their voting constituents about their true intentions and beliefs about amnesty for illegal aliens (including that they feel the voters are stupid and don't know what's good for them); and the members can stop the conspiracy of deceit once the primaries are over.
Anyone read this differently?

That way Republican candidates can run as Tea Party conservatives in the primary and pull the old switcheroo on the voters after they have won their party’s nomination, like Marco Rubio.

Read it exactly like that

I am just beside myself. Shamnesty is about the one thing that the GOP Establishment can do to squander the opportunity that the Obamacare debacle represents.
Obamacare is energizing the base and even pissing off everyone not drinking Obama's bong water. So with that dynamic going on, they want to do something to alienate the base and commit long-term political suicide?

McCain is using sour grapes.
The bitter clingers who lose primaries will punish their constituents for throwing them out.
Isn’t this what the democrats did to give the USA socialized obamacare?
How very valery jarret of mccain.

The Senators and their GOPe donors offer to buy the rope for House Republicans to hang themselves.
Naturally he has misremembered Kruschev’s statement...

I think that hits the nail on the head. Unfortunately, many voting constituents are as dumb about DC as could ever be imagined.

He also means that the losers in primaries will then sell their votes cheap for lobbying and similar positions the GOPe can offer them.
He wins both ways.
