I believe in compromise when it comes to neighborhood safety.

That is apparent.

I have rural acreage. I have a "junky old car" sitting out back. It looks like hell because I haven't had the cash to work on it the last few years. While the body needs work, I have over $10k invested in the engine, transmission, and suspension. It'll do 10.5/143 on a 1/4 mile.

It'd probably be a code violation in George's neighborhood.

One you are ok with them sending armed officers to enforce a "code" against.

That's Socialism. No matter how you try to spin it.

I don't see your 10-second car, that actually runs, the same as I would see a rusted out van in the same spot for years totally neglected. But I'm not acting with full info. I'd like to see a pic of the van as well as the history of complaints lodged by the neighborhood.

But if your neighbors made a reasonable request of you to move your vehicle (due to a child safety issue or something similar) would you at least consider it?
