My company leadership is receiving a briefing tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM from Blue Cross explaining the changes that they are required to make. They have no choice and our costs will increase approximately 25%. That’s today’s figure, it will be more once the rollout disaster is taken into account. This nasty little turn of events could easily destroy our little $12 million per year company. I have already seen the briefing and have a number of probing questions for the Blue Cross guy. But, he is not the problem. The problem is our government.
That will be the next outrage, when all companies roll out the new healthcare premiums for the new year. If people think they are safe from Obamacare side effects just because they get healthcare from their employer, just wait.
